The successful candidate will be based at our offices in Weedon, Northamptonshire traveling to attend client meetings and undertaking client tasks on site as required. Successful candidates will have had extensive experience in both logistics management and planning and be capable of selling, managing and implementing consultancy projects. The role requires strong presentation skills, customer relationship management ability and an analytical, logical approach to problem solving. Previous consultancy or board level experience is essential in one or more of our key focus areas.

Logistics Consultant
LOCATION: Weedon, Northamptonshire
SALARY: £25K to £35K dependent on experience

Davies & Robson is currently looking to expand its consulting team to meet the ongoing requirements of its clients. This role will involve working alongside our existing team on a range of challenging projects for a variety of blue chip customers; advising, modelling, designing and implementing innovative solutions within their supply chain operations. Candidates should preferably be of graduate calibre with a minimum of two years relevant career experience in a logistics planning, design or operational function or a related discipline but most importantly should be able to demonstrate creative, innovative thinking and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This position will be based at our offices in Weedon, Northamptonshire and candidates should be prepared to relocate within commuting distance if necessary. The role will incorporate both office and client based work and also some travel to attend client meetings and undertake project work as required. Working closely with the Directors and Senior Consultants the successful applicant will provide support on new and existing business propositions, be involved in the proposal process and help develop the business in marketing and administrative areas. Responsibilities will include interpreting and evaluating client requirements, process mapping, data analysis & modelling, operational solution design through to the preparation and presentation of findings and recommendations.
