Responding to Invitations to Tender
Purpose:
The main purpose of the workshop is to explore and to develop, with delegates, an improved understanding of the techniques and approach adopted in the formal invitation to tender process.
Objectives:
During the course delegates will:
Develop an understanding of the role of logistics in meeting a company’s objectives
Learn how companies identify and position suppliers with regard to their true capability
Prepare an objective and detailed RFQ/ITT response
Develop a decision-making matrix
Prepare a brief for the negotiation process
Identify the critical success factors involved in a successful implementation
Recognise the importance of managing the relationship
