Fisher Outdoor is a privately owned wholesaler supplying cycles, spares and a range of accessories and apparel to independent bike shops and large retailers.
As a result of significant growth, Fisher were under considerable operational pressure caused by a lack of working space. Product was being double handled and service suffering.
Our supply chain consultants were invited to undertake a review of warehouse operations and functionality of the warehouse management system. Subsequently, we were appointed to assist in the implementation of the required changes. We provided an Interim Manager to support the transition to a new WMS and implement significant layout and process changes.
As a result, Fisher benefitted from a more efficient operation which enabled the warehouse to cope with an increase in growth.
