Currie European is one of the largest independent transport and warehousing companies providing a range of distribution services within the UK and Europe. In order to build on the success already achieved, Currie undertook a major strategic review of the future direction of the Business and invited Davies & Robson to facilitate discussions and contribute to the evaluation of options.
A new five year strategic plan was developed to build on the success already achieved and to take the Business forward in a post Brexit World. A key development is the continued expansion of operations south of the Border. Whilst Currie will retain its presence in Scotland, Warrington will increasingly become the hub of UK operations with direct links to the rest of the UK and the Continent.
The new name, Currie Solutions, was introduced to reflect the ability to select and combine its comprehensive range of services to meet the particular needs of individual customers. To achieve this further investment will be made in marketing, planning support and systems.
