HellermannTyton Group plc is a market-leading global manufacturer and supplier of high performance and innovative cable management solutions for fastening, identifying, insulating, protecting, organising, routing and connecting components in electrical, automotive and datacom markets.

As a result of increasing sales and product range HellermannTyton had outgrown its current UK National Distribution Centre in Aldridge and to accommodate further expansion decided to relocate to a new warehouse in Cannock.

Following our support, in the design of layout and processes, a Davies & Robson specialist interim manager was engaged to lead and coordinate the multiple work streams required for a smooth transition; physically and culturally from a paper based system to a new site and WMS.

"Paul was brought on board to project manage the introduction of a WMS and warehouse relocation to smoothly go live. He was able to develop a clear project plan and by forming and leading internal teams was able to tackle the individual challenges.

He was also involved with the coordination of the new WMS module implementation.
