Our logistics consultancy was first appointed to evaluate the capacity of the National Distribution Centre at Daventry.
The NDC was already operating at capacity during peak periods; we recommended the opening of a second distribution centre in Manchester and optimising the layout of the Daventry facility to fulfil the businesses short term needs.
Recently we have been asked to implement these changes.
We are currently running the tender process and property search of a new NDC in the North West, whilst project managing the implementation of improvements in the Daventry facility.
