CLIC Sargent is a charity supporting children and young people, with cancer. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to the whole family.
To raise funds CLIC Sargent undertakes a range of activities including the sale of donated items from individuals and companies in their shops, sales on eBay, sales on the internet, and cash collections.
Central to the operation is their Distribution Centre in Bristol which acts as a hub for products received from companies, for switching stock between shops, and as a distribution point for products sold on eBay.
CLIC Sargent invited our logistics consultants to help evaluate strategic options to expand their shop network throughout the UK; identifying tactical improvements that could be made to improve the running of the operation and future options for geographical expansion.
