Kumho Tyre (UK) Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Kumho Tire of Korea, one of the World’s top ten tyre manufactures producing more than 68 million, car, van & truck tyres per annum and available in 180 countries around the world.
Kumho wanted to take control of the direct sales and distribution of its two brands in the UK, Kumho and Marshal. We provided Kumho with extensive support in determining the optimum logistics solution and prepared a financial model to assist in the business planning process.
Following a comprehensive tender process our supply chain consultants successfully helped Kumho select a contractor to provide a National Distribution Centre. To prepare for the move to direct operations, we provided an interim manager to undertake necessary planning and coordination.
